Peeve

I've been a Type 1 diabetic for most of my life. I was diagnosed at the tender age of 3. I've had many problems with it, going in and out of diabetic ketoacidosis many, many times, and I'm not suffering the consequences of that.
However.
You will never catch me using my illness as an excuse. If I ever mention my blood sugars or insulin or other such things, I'm either being serious or joking. I don't use diabetes as a means of getting out of things.
I also don't use it to ask for pity.
It irritates me to no end when people use their illness for sympathy and a means of escape.
If I can deal with this, so can you. Suck it up, put on a smile and show what you can do.

I'm Kiwi.I'm a relatively boring person, as I'm sure you'll find out anyway.
I have my opinions, you have yours, and it's always going to be like that. Don't try to force me to change into something you approve of, because you'll only receive a big old "Fuck you" in return.
I love makeup, and I have a feeling I'm going to be following a lot of makeup bloggers. However, this more than likely won't turn into a makeup blog in itself. Number one, I take cruddy photos. Number two, I'm broke more often than not. Number three, I'm not photogenic AT ALL. This blog will be more like a place for me to vent my personal beliefs and events.
I'm a Type 1 diabetic, in danger of nephropathy. It's tough but I manage.
